BON Networks addresses the need for broadband wireless service distribution through three product lines:
The Smart Electrically Steered Directional Antenna (SEDAN) product line allows wireless systems to seamlessly integrate directional antenna technology into their transceivers. The SEDAN products are controlled through a CMOS chip controller, which can electrically steer the antenna in any desired direction in less than 1 microsecond. The antenna can then compensate for the relative movement of the product it is embedded into, fast enough not to be noticed by the rest of the wireless network.
The SEDAN is small enough to fit any handheld device, yet can also be used in customer premises equipment (CPE) to extend service coverage and enhance throughput while automating the installation process without the need for technician truck roll.
The directional antenna can then deliver more than 6dB increase into the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR), which can be used to increase the coverage and reduce the power consumption to less than half, more than doubling the battery life of handheld devices and mobile phones!

The Wireless MIMO Antennas (WiMAnt) product lines are miniature antennas that support MIMO communications. These antennas support Wi-Fi, WiMAX, and other wireless networks. All antennas are printed or stamped, and can fit into footprints as small as 20mm by 20mm for a complete 2 by 2 MIMO antenna.
